|Cham Cleaning has the expertise and the equipment to provide a full range of cleaning services including all types of floors (hard and carpet) pressure cleaning and the like.
For several years now, Cham Enterprises has been contracted to the West Arnhem Shire, the Jabiru School, Eriss, Westpac Bank, Jabiru Police Station, the Medical Clinic, the Training Centre (to name a few) to provide a professional cleaning service to those clients.
In about April 2011 CHAM ENTERPRISES PTY LTD (Trading as Cham Cleaning N.T.) expanded their operations into Oenpelli where the company (after finally acquiring accommodation there) was engaged by the Oenpelli School, the Medical Clinic and the West Arnhem Shire to provide cleaning services to those (and other) entities in Gunbalunya.
During 2009 - 11, before securing that accommodation, Cham Cleaning N.T was on a regular weekly basis in some cases, travelling to Oenpelli and Warawi to provide their services to various Government entities.
In 2011 - 2012 CHAM CLEANING was engaged by TERRITORY ALLIANCE to clean 'new builds' and 'refurbishments' at Oenpelli and Maningrida.
CHAM performed all of the tasks demanded by Territory Alliance to a high standard and remained an integral part of the project until its completion.
JABIRU - Cham employs 3 to 4 full time staff, and 1 - 2 part -time staff.
OENPELLI- 3 full time staff.
During the Territory Alliance project, Cham employed 2 teams of 4 plus a superviser at Maningrida, and a further 2 teams of 4 plus a supervisor at Oenpelli. These staff were dedicated to T.A. and were in addition to the full time staff employed to meet CHAM's regular contracts at Jabiru and Oenpelli.
All Cham staff undergo an Induction Course at the commencement of their employment. This Induction process is carried out 'face to face' and
staff are then provided with a hard (and electronic) copy of risk assessment documents on...
- General Cleaning in the work place.
- Use of electrical equipment including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, pressure cleaners.
- Staff are required to 'sign off' on their Induction in order to acknowledge they have fully understood this most import procedure.
CHAM has on a number of occasions since 2004 made it known to the appropriate bodies within this area, that they are very keen to provide work experience to local indigenous females, and would be pleased to employ suitably qualified indigenous workers should they apply.
CHAM has in fact employed three such females at different times, as cleaners here in Jabiru and in Oenpelli.
The Directors of Cham Enterprises Pty Ltd, Peter and Jo Summerton, are committed to providing a professional and first class cleaning service to their clients.
They are proud of their track record in this industry, and continue to strive to grow their business, and to improve their professional standards.
